Mole’s Cottage is situated on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is a luxurious self catering cottage set within the grounds of a private house and used to be a stable block before being converted and extended to a high standard, which now consists of utility room, separate cloakroom, large kitchen/dining room, lounge and 2 good size en-suite bedrooms. There’s a large log cabin containing a seven seat hot tub and toilet facilities which is fully enclosed and paved. The swimming pool and hot tub is for your private use only.
Where we come in… during the process of converting a stable block into a luxurious self catering cottage, the owners also wanted to make the property efficient with lower energy bills. We installed underfloor heating throughout which is provided by a Panasonic air source heat pump. We also installed a 3.06kW Solar PV system which also utilises the Eddi hot water controller (a local Lincolnshire Wolds product) to divert surplus energy on unoccupied days to heat the hot water for free.
