The Problem

Community centres play an important role in bringing people together for events, meetings, and social activities. This Lincolnshire community centre wanted to reduce its energy costs while demonstrating a commitment to sustainability.

The building oil boiler had started to require more repairs due to it’s age. After a committee meeting it was decided to explore changing the boiler to an air source heat pump. At the time of installation, the Renewable heat incentive was available for this install which helped with the ROI on the installation cost..

The Solution

Our team removed the old oil boiler and replaced it with a Panasonic 9kw mono bloc heat pump, with a new 200 litre ASHP unvented cylinder, along with a heat meter to qualify the RHI payments.
