The Problem

This residential project in Skellingthorpe focused on helping homeowners improve energy efficiency while reducing reliance on traditional energy sources. By combining multiple renewable technologies, the property could benefit from both electricity generation and low-carbon heating.

With energy prices continuing to rise, the homeowners wanted to reduce electricity bills while improving the environmental performance of their property. They were looking for a system that could generate renewable electricity, store excess power, and provide efficient heating.

The Solution

We installed a 4.08 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and SolarEdge technology, combined with two SolarEdge 10 kWh batteries providing 20 kWh of energy storage. The project also included a 12 kW Midea air source heat pump, providing efficient renewable heating for the home.

The system now generates renewable electricity, stores excess solar energy, and provides low-carbon heating for the property. This combination significantly reduces reliance on grid electricity while helping lower energy bills and carbon emissions.
