The Problem

This new-build residential project in Louth was designed to incorporate renewable energy technologies from the outset. The homeowners wanted a modern energy system that would generate electricity, store excess power, and provide efficient low-carbon heating.

With energy costs continuing to increase, the homeowners wanted to ensure their new home would be highly energy efficient while reducing reliance on traditional energy sources.

The Solution

We installed a 6.66 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and SolarEdge inverter technology, paired with a Tesla Powerwall 2 battery providing 14 kWh of energy storage. The installation also included a 12 kW Panasonic air source heat pump, delivering efficient renewable heating for the property.

The completed system now generates renewable electricity, stores excess solar energy, and provides low-carbon heating. This significantly reduces reliance on grid electricity while helping lower long-term energy costs and carbon emissions.
