The Problem

This commercial agricultural project in Scothern was designed to help the property owner reduce energy costs while improving the sustainability of the site. With energy demand increasing across agricultural operations, the client wanted to invest in renewable technology that could deliver both electricity generation and efficient heating.

Agricultural premises often require significant electricity for equipment, lighting, and facilities. At the same time, heating requirements can add further energy costs. The client wanted a solution that would reduce reliance on traditional energy sources while improving overall efficiency.

The Solution

We installed a 21 kW solar PV system using DMEGC solar panels and Solis inverter technology to generate renewable electricity on site. To further improve efficiency, the project also included a 12 kW Panasonic air source heat pump, providing low-carbon heating for the property.

The combined renewable energy system now generates clean electricity and provides efficient heating for the site. This reduces operational energy costs while lowering carbon emissions and improving the overall sustainability of the premises.
