The Problem

This residential renewable energy project in Lincoln was designed to help the homeowner reduce energy costs while improving the sustainability of their property. By combining solar energy generation, battery storage, and low-carbon heating, the system delivers a highly efficient home energy solution.

The homeowner wanted to reduce rising energy bills while improving the environmental performance of the property. They were looking for a system that could generate renewable electricity, store excess energy, and provide efficient heating.

The Solution

We installed a 6.72 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels with Tesla technology, paired with a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery providing 14 kWh of energy storage. The system also includes a 7 kW Panasonic air source heat pump, delivering efficient renewable heating.

The installation now generates renewable electricity, stores solar energy for later use, and provides low-carbon heating for the home. This improves energy independence while reducing both electricity costs and carbon emissions.
