The Problem

This new-build residential project in Waddington was designed with sustainability and long-term energy efficiency in mind. The homeowners wanted to incorporate renewable energy technologies that would generate electricity, store excess power, and provide efficient low-carbon heating for the property.

With rising electricity and heating costs, the homeowners wanted a system that could reduce reliance on grid energy while ensuring the home remained comfortable and efficient throughout the year.

The Solution

We installed an 8.1 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and Solis inverter technology, paired with a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery providing 14 kWh of energy storage. The system also includes a 7 kW Panasonic air source heat pump, delivering efficient renewable heating for the home.

The completed system now generates renewable electricity, stores excess solar energy, and provides low-carbon heating for the property. This improves energy independence while helping reduce both energy costs and carbon emissions.
