The Problem

Duncan & Toplis, a well-established professional services firm in Lincoln, wanted to improve the energy efficiency of its premises while reducing long-term electricity costs. As part of the organisation’s commitment to sustainability, the company explored renewable energy technology that could deliver measurable environmental and financial benefits.

Commercial offices rely heavily on electricity for lighting, IT systems, and daily operations. Rising energy prices meant the organisation wanted to find a reliable way to generate renewable electricity while lowering operational expenses.

The Solution

We designed and installed a 40.51 kW solar PV system using Longi solar panels and Solis inverter technology. The installation was carefully positioned to maximise solar exposure and provide strong energy generation throughout the day.

The completed solar installation now produces a significant amount of renewable electricity for the building. This reduces the company’s reliance on grid electricity, helping lower operational costs while improving the sustainability of its office premises.
