The Problem

Running Imp, a business based in Lincoln, wanted to improve the energy efficiency of its premises while reducing long-term electricity costs. With sustainability becoming an increasingly important priority, the company explored renewable energy technology as part of its strategy.

Commercial facilities often require substantial electricity for lighting, equipment, and daily operations. Rising electricity prices meant the organisation was looking for a way to reduce operational energy costs while improving environmental performance.

The Solution

Our team designed and installed a 92.4 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and Solis inverter technology. The system was configured to maximise energy generation across the available roof space and provide renewable electricity during peak operational hours.

The installation now produces a large amount of renewable electricity on site, helping offset energy consumption and reduce operational costs. The project also supports the company’s sustainability goals by lowering its carbon footprint.
