The Problem

Universal Fabrications Ltd operates a major commercial facility in Nuneaton where reliable electricity is essential for manufacturing operations. With energy consumption increasing, the company wanted to invest in renewable energy technology that could help control long-term electricity costs while improving sustainability.

Manufacturing and fabrication facilities often require substantial electricity for machinery, lighting, and production processes. Rising energy prices meant operational energy costs were becoming a significant concern for the business.

The Solution

We designed and installed a 350.26 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and Solis inverter technology. The system was carefully engineered to maximise solar generation across the building’s roof space and provide significant on-site electricity production.

The completed installation now generates a substantial amount of renewable electricity for the site. This helps offset operational energy consumption, reduce electricity costs, and significantly lower the company’s carbon footprint.
