The Problem

Lindum Business Park in York wanted to improve the energy efficiency of its commercial premises while reducing long-term electricity costs. With sustainability becoming increasingly important within the construction and property sectors, the organisation explored renewable energy solutions that could generate electricity on site while supporting its environmental goals.

Commercial and construction facilities often require significant electricity for offices, equipment, and day-to-day operations. Rising energy costs meant the organisation was looking for a solution that could reduce reliance on grid electricity while improving the sustainability of the site.

The Solution

Our team designed and installed a 36.93 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and SolarEdge inverter technology. The system was carefully configured to maximise energy generation across the building’s available roof space while integrating seamlessly with the existing electrical infrastructure.

The completed installation now generates renewable electricity directly on site, helping offset operational energy consumption. This reduces electricity costs while lowering carbon emissions and supporting the organisation’s long-term sustainability strategy.
