The Problem

Dynex Semiconductor Ltd in Lincoln operates a major manufacturing facility where reliable electricity is essential for advanced engineering and production processes. With high energy demands across its operations, the organisation wanted to explore renewable energy solutions that could improve energy efficiency while supporting long-term sustainability goals.

Manufacturing facilities often require substantial electricity to power specialist equipment, production lines, and supporting infrastructure. Rising energy costs meant the company was looking for a solution that could help reduce operational energy expenses while lowering the environmental impact of its facility.

The Solution

Our team designed and installed a 438.6 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels and Solis inverter technology. The system was engineered to maximise solar generation across the building’s available roof space, allowing the facility to generate a significant amount of renewable electricity directly on site.

The completed installation now produces a large volume of clean electricity for the manufacturing facility. This helps offset energy consumption, reduce long-term electricity costs, and significantly lower the site’s carbon emissions while supporting the company’s commitment to sustainable industrial operations.
