The Problem

Hemswell Antique Centres Ltd operates one of the UK’s largest antique centres, with multiple buildings and a high level of daily visitor activity. With energy usage across the site continuing to grow, the organisation wanted to invest in renewable energy technology to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Large commercial premises often require significant electricity for lighting, facilities, and daily operations. Rising energy costs meant the organisation needed a sustainable solution that could generate electricity on site while reducing reliance on the grid.

The Solution

We designed and installed a 126 kW solar PV system using JA Solar panels with Solis inverter technology. The system was configured to maximise energy generation across the building’s roof space, ensuring reliable renewable electricity production throughout the day.

The solar installation now generates a substantial amount of clean electricity for the site. This helps reduce operational energy costs while lowering carbon emissions and supporting the organisation’s sustainability goals.
