Alternative Energy Tech Used

The Problem

Lincolnshire County Council is committed to reducing energy costs and supporting environmental sustainability across its buildings. As part of this initiative, the council explored the installation of renewable energy technology to help generate electricity on site.

Public sector buildings often consume significant amounts of electricity due to lighting, heating, and operational requirements. Rising energy prices and carbon reduction targets meant the council needed a reliable solution that could reduce both operational costs and environmental impact.

The Solution

We designed and installed a 44.88 kW solar PV system using Canadian Solar panels and Solis inverters. The system was carefully configured to maximise energy generation across the available roof space while integrating seamlessly with the building’s electrical infrastructure.

The installation now generates a substantial amount of renewable electricity for the facility. This reduces reliance on grid power, lowers energy costs, and helps the council progress toward its long-term carbon reduction goals.
