The Problem

The Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance provides vital emergency medical services across the region. As a charity organisation, managing operational costs is essential to ensure funding can be directed toward lifesaving missions.

Running an emergency response base requires reliable electricity for facilities, equipment, and daily operations. Rising energy costs meant the organisation was looking for ways to reduce expenditure without compromising service reliability.

The Solution

We installed an 8.28 kW solar PV system using JA Solar 345 W panels with a Solis inverter. The system was designed to generate renewable electricity during daylight hours, helping offset the facility’s energy usage.

The solar installation now produces clean electricity for the base, reducing reliance on grid energy and lowering operational costs. These savings allow the organisation to allocate more resources toward supporting its emergency medical services.
